This past week has been fairly routine with the exception of Wednesday when it was announced that Saturday (today) was being declared a holiday. The occasion was King Abdullah's return to Saudi Arabia after having been in a New York hospital for treatment of a slipped disc and blood clot for months. I read he flew in with three jets and his motorcade to the hospital consisted of 40 vehicles. It sounded like quite the ordeal.
That meant one extra day for me to stay home with my family. It was much appreciated. Aden is growing so fast it seems almost everyday we see some new or improved skill.
